We often take for granted the foods we love. While we're a enjoying favorite family dish, we don't imagine a day when we'll never eat it again because no one will know how to prepare it... just so. We pass down photos and family stories, but sometimes we forget the recipes until it's too late.
So my goal in this project is to document all the food I've loved in my life. I'm adding the dishes made by all the people I cherish then and now, in addition to my own recipes that people have enjoyed at my table for years. I will try to include the details and the tips that will help anyone be successful making these dishes, and well as the stories, and even sometimes the actual recipe cards I've collected written in each chef's own words. So it's a cookbook and a history too.
