I got this recipe from Michelle MacDonald and Park City’s Minnesota Mafia.


Tom & Jerry Drink Batter
Ingredients
- 1 dozen eggs, separated
- 3 cups sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1-1/2 lb. powdered sugar (yes, that says lb.)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Boiling water
- Rum
- Brandy
- Nutmeg
Instructions
- In a huge bowl, whip egg whites with a mixer until stuff. Add sugar and cream of tartar to egg whites.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites. Add powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Combine mixtures and freeze immediately to the mixture does not separate. Freeze at least overnight.
- When ready to serve, add 1/2 shot each of rum and brandy to one scoop of batter and boiling water. Stir and top with nutmeg.
