Ingredients
- 1 cup soft butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Instructions
- Mix butter, sugar and eggs
- Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Add to egg mixture.
- Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Roll in dish of sugar and cinnamon. Bake on an ungreased sheet until lightly brown but soft. 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
