
Mitzi’s Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1-1/2 lb. beef stew meat
- 1 pork chop of similar small piece of pork
- 1-1/2 inch piece of pepperoni
- 3 - 8 oz. cans Hunts Tomato Sauce
- 1 - 6 oz. can Hunts Tomato Paste
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 Tablespoon oregano

Instructions
- Brown the beef, pork chop and pepperoni in olive oil.
- Combine all ingredients in big cooking pot.
- For every can of sauce and paste, add an equal amount of water. This recipe makes a relatively small amount of sauce. You can double, triple or more the recipe but must maintain the same ratio of ingredients.
- Cook at the simmer, uncovered, for at least 2 hours.
- Tip: There is a 5-minute period of time around the two-hour mark when you can see the mixture transform into sauce. You won't hurt the sauce to simmer it for three hours, but you have to be sure you hit the 2 hour mark for the big change.
