Garlic Green Beans

Ingredients
- 3 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed (cut off both ends)
- 6 garlic cloves, whole
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Instructions
- Cooks beans and garlic cloves in boiling salted water to cover for 5 minutes or until crispy-tender (al dente); drain.
- Transfer beans to serving dish.
- Remove garlic cloves and mince. (I crushed them with the garlic press into the dressing mixture.)
- Whisk together oil, vinegar, minced garlic, salt and pepper.
- Drizzle over green beans and toss gently.
- It doesn't matter if you serve them hot, warm or cold. They make a good salad-y type dish.
