
Steamed Shrimp
Ingredients
- 3 lbs large-jumbo shrimp
- 2 med onions, quartered
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 beer
- Can old bay spices
Instructions
- Take stockpot with rack or steamer in it
- Pour beer and vinegar in bottom of pot
- Layer shrimp and onion in steamer.
- Sprinkle old bay over each layer
- Cover and steam for 10 minutes or until shrimp are red. (May need to stir shrimp around with spoon to get lesser cooked shrimp to top.)
