
Honey-Spice Acorn Squash

Ingredients
- 3 medium acorn squashs
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/3 cup honey
- Optional: brown sugar sprinkled on top
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Scrub squash. Cut in half lengthwise. Remove seeds and string fibers.
- Arrange cut side down, in shallow baking pan. Surround with 1/2 inch hot water. Bake 30 minutes.
- Combine the remaining ingredients. Pam off excess liquid from baking pan, turn squash cut side up.
- Pan sauce into cavities. Bake 15 minutes, basting now and then with sauce.
